Fair deal versus fair value

This 'fair deal' with being well over the current share price of Dec 07th and a big margin, means sh!t in my opinion. They say it's based on the 8.5M ozs that the analysts consensus suggests there is.

We all know that $29 is more than $23, but does that make it fair value? 

NO

All those who came up with that amount and gave guidance to the GBR board, most likely have profited in one way from those consultations, but I doubt they were GBR shareholders.

The fair value of this would have been to see what the initial maiden resource was going to be before we put up 'the for sale' sign.

Your not going to sell the farm until you get the land appraised, and the house.

It seems Kinross has been involved with this since 2018, so although this sale came as a complete surprise to me the other day, and all of you, the details must have been going on for weeks if not months. My guess is that's why we didn't get the results of the maiden resource first.

I forgot to add that the fair value would have been the other parts of the layered cake and the side dish. The inital maiden resource was only going to be on a tiny part of the top layer of the cake of the LP fault, ie down to 400 metres. CT always eluded the fact there were more layers. Since the area is known for mining to great depths, that means there were at least two layers not valued ...more
