Saddle – is an
entirely new find identified only in the period since 2013.  The nearest and only historically known samples
to the site of the recently identified Saddle anomalies were five rock samples with very weakly elevated
values of gold taken in 1991 from a site in the valley bottom approximately 1.5 kilometres distant, downslope
of and lateral to, the newly defined anomalies.

Blueskyflyer, well said. Additionally, this property is near the Red Chris Mine where previous exploration primarily focused on finding porphyry-type Cu-Au gold deposits. The high-grade Saddle gold discovery has come right out of left field and at present we know little about it. Might there exist parallel structures that were overlooked while conducting broad based porphyry-type exploration ...more
