I have trouble understanding how anybody woud take a PP at $.80 when they can but the shares on the open maret for $.47...can anyone explain to me , is it just a tax thing.?

Yes Flow through shares are tax based 100% for investing. most companies will price their flow-through share offerings somewhere between a 20% to 30% premium to their current share price. I think the reason why we are seeing the current downtrend in GT is 2 possibles reasons. 1) no investor has been found or their deal fell through so they are screwed for the upcoming drill season.
