Not surprising

I'm not surprised.  The recent downturn helped seal the deal.  I chuckled when I read the part about being one of the last small cap producers, really?  There's a reason they dont exist.  Perhaps your search for a dancing partner would've helped shareholders more than what management decided to do over the last year.  They should've partnered with another dividend payer like SGY, TOG, WCP, CJ, etc and get into a larger asset base that's more diversified.

$0.01/month is fine for the current conditions - maybe there should be more thought put into growth or share buybacks like the others did ovver a year ago.

having watched all the mlps stateside over the last few years crumble this situation reminds me of a few producers I liked in the states. (LGCY..MCEP) Granite probably should have cut the divy sooner and harder and reigned in debt and looked for ways to partner up earlier. im glad they are no longer exploring sales because only a crappy deal could happen in this environment. Its on sale so ill ...more

the only reason I can think of for not cutting it to zero would be so dividend funds that own it would be forced to sell out their position if there was no dividend but that is a stretch that only a black cat would be believe on halloween. I think they hope this will keep the stock above a buck.
