My sell orders at 10.60 just went through.  WTF!  Just made 30K!  

No idea what happened but I am now out of HBC.

Wacky...but I will take it.

Getting into oil.  If Trump sanctions Iran...bam.

My last post on HBC site...what a joke.  I make a handsome amount as I had a standing sell order in (was kicking myself that I missed the first spike to the high tens a week or so ago) and someone gives me one star! Folks on this site should be congratulating one another when things work out. Good luck.  But I do agree that buying Macy's is not in HBC's best interests.   ...more

Your one of the lucky ones. I'm not sure the people buying hbc today understand what their buying. Could be management supporting the stock. It would take years and tens of billions in restructuring costs of any deal. The real estate on hbc is now leveraged to a potential deal. Know what your buying now I predict no bottom to hbc if they try a buyout and the real estate play is gonzo....!

Amen! I was watching from the side after I sold-out, but this deal is pure stupidity. Why saddle the company with enormous amount of debt? The US market is saturated and more retailers are downsizing yet HBC is doubling down? Like I said in my earlier post.... invest in your e-commerce business and drive down cost. I'm officially staying on the sideline because there are other investments that ...more
