Monetize the real estates of Lord & Taylor is the way to go for HBC.

Everybody seems to agree the best course of action is to monetize the HBC real estate but no one offers a method to do it. The simplest method is just to sell everything and distribute the net proceeds by way of a dividend but I don't see any sign that happening. HBC management appears to have decided to sell the real estate off in piecemeal fashion while continuing to lose massive amounts of ...more

You're 100% right. The oldest corp. in the world is going to hang on to their retail legacy for dear life, even if that costs shareholders everything. No CEO of HBC wants to be the one who packed the whole business up just to make shareholders happy.
