Litt Bashers Do NOT Understand

Bashing Litt for his inability to monetize the real estate holdings of HBC seems to be counter productive yapping and lacking in understanding. Litt seems to be the only one going to bat for the small shareholders. Baker is the nemesis to us making profits here. Why on earth is Baker staying the course with retail when retail is going in a different direction - eg. Amazon and Walmart? So far, Litt has been our only champion. Of course, he wants to make a profit too, fair enough, we have the same goals. Okay, how about this? Litt gets some financing (a minor miracle) and does some kind of leveraged buy out, with a major financial institution and then does the quick flip, with possibly Litt himself taking it private. Or, perhaps Buffet steps in, like he did with HCG, buys a large stake and he backs Litt and they either take it private together or do a flip to whomever. Buffet seems to be more interested in Canada these days.

If you think Litt is on the shareholders side you're a dreamer, he only cares about Jonathan Litt. In the stock market game it's everyone for themselves, don't get the impression some individual or group is out to help you since they are not.
