Shopping at the Bay vs. Amazon

I am a retired senior and have owned HBC stock for the last few years . As with all of you , I am well aware of the real estate value of the company . What I don't understand is why the younger generation wants to stay home , sit on the couch , play with their Apple I Phone , eat junk food and order everything online . I personally would never order anything from Amazon . To me , they let all the stores do the heavy lifting , display the merchandise and then they undercut them in price . I actually like going in the HBC stores , look around , talk to people , physically see the merchandise , compare in store sales , touch the product etc. . I remember as a boy , I loved the smell of the cosmetic department when shopping with my mother . I will be doing the majority of my Christmas shopping at The Bay . With their HBC credit card , you can actually get some really good deals there and get some exercise while you are doing it . In addition to the Bay , I also own JC Penney for the same reasons .

They have crazy overhead and cannot compete.@ I just started investing in JD (JD.com).@ If you@re interested in the @future@ of retail just look ...more
