I believe they acquired their block at $14 range. This is what they do for a living. Anyone really think they will accept 9.45?

9.45 was the stock price in January until Baker and TSX MM's manipulated the price down on virtually non existent trading volumes. Prospects for HBC are better today than in January....

Agreed...the price needs to be much higher....it will be interesting to see what the committee comes back with for value and then what reaction the Baker group has because we all know that the value is much much higher Yeah the price was beaten down pretty bad on small volumes to really depress the price and then come back with an offer of 45% increase off an artifically engineered price ...more

And if not Baker, than someone else will....Rhone paid $12 for their intial block and this is a relatively small deal fot them....
