Does anyone think that the so called independent committee would not have bumped it up by 10-20% in any event, just to make the theft look plausible. This is just the beginning of a long, drawn out affair.....Stock price will go up.

Committee does   not    have    to  make   any   recommendation   .    They   can  leave    it    up   to  shareholders  .   The  price    is    based     on    what ...more

Is "sophisticated investor" definition in Canada same as "accredited institutional investor" in US? These rules are all meant to protect us retail investor dumb pshits...lol

"The Special Committee will oversee the preparation of a formal valuation by an additional independent valuator regarding the proposed privatization transaction." The independent evaluator can't ignore the company's own appraisal, even if its lower than it was.  Now they can say an unsrupulous majority will prevent minority shareholders from realizing value, but there not ...more
