when the bid got pulled....likely the same result when Baker pulls his bid for $10.30....stock could go back to $6....Catalyst was just using leverage to get Baker to increase the bid..

In this chess game, I think there have been so many moves that Baker did not anticipate: Catalyst bid, Ortelius lawsuit, ISS recommendation, OSC decision, lack of support from the minority shareholders... These have stopped him from forcing us to accept his low bid.   It appears Baker is losing so far.   You are right that we don't know what is his next move.  We know there ...more

Nice try. There is a world of difference between jimmy and baker. Jimmy is a billionaire and doesn't need the balance of cfp. He became a billionaire because he's smart, not slippery. So yes his bid is opportunistic but nobody faults him for trying. Baker is a wanna be, who has somehow smooth talked a few other big shareholders into buying out the minority at a steal of a price.
