"Something" lit a fire under....

..... all the cheap silver producers today, even as silver
itself wasn't going anywhere.  Very unusual, but lends
credence to the adage, 'The miners move first...'  and
August often marks a major low for both gold and 
silver, as it did in 2018. 

Hecla..... First Maj... even left-for-dead Coeur... they 
all had out-sized moves.

The miners have been slaughtered over four weeks of trading. They're a lot cheaper today than they were at the end of June. The move up from last July has now been cut in half. As mere investors let's hope the bankers and  brokers have now had their fill of cheap shares and their brethren at Comex have their fill of contracts at a steep discount.
