Halo and AurCrest Finalize Joint Venture Agreement on Bridget Lake Property5 hours ago by Marketwire

Halo Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE: HLO)(FRANKFURT: HRLN) ("Halo" or the "Company") and AurCrest Gold Inc. (TSX VENTURE: AGO) ("AurCrest") are pleased to announce that further to its announcement dated October 27, 2008, the company has signed a final joint venture agreement in respect of the Bridget Lake Property in the prolific Red Lake area of Ontario.

Halo has acquired a 65% interest (from AurCrest) in the 9 claim units (144 hectares) situated in Ball Township, Red Lake Mining Division (the "Property"). The Property is adjacent to the Red Lake Gold Mines, Halo's West Red Lake joint venture property owned 60% by Halo and 40% by Red Lake Gold Mines.

"The completion of earn-in and the joint venture agreement is another important step in the consolidation of the West Red Lake area. Halo now has three joint venture agreements that combined provide control of 4,394 hectares in an area that has seen only fractured property ownership for the last 50 years. These claims cover an area of approximately 9km by 5km with prospective geology that ranges from nickel-bearing ultramafics to gold-bearing quartz veins", says Mr. Cernovitch.

Easily one of the worst run companies that I have invested in.

The worst thing for me is I`m ratting on a company I own a ton of shares in , but I get so frustrated with their nonsense that I finally blow and stab myself in the back as far as new investors go . I would really like to run  into some of the management of this dog someday . Then I would really let off steam .

I know the feeling.  I'm down about $80K on Halo and still holding.  Current management has done more harm to this company than any comments either you or i could make.   With the right management team in place, Halo could have a very bright future as the fundamentals are still very good.  The main issue is that management doesn't know or care to market this company ...more

Sounds like we are into this for about the same amount . I`m blown away by the amount these guys pay themselves and also provide PR and consulting services for separate fees . That awful woman was the worst and she`s still a hanger on .  The whole world came unglued about the money investment bankers gave themselves , but divided by the number of hours put in compared to compensation ...more
