CBD Extraction Policy Change
Ahoy, peoples of the neighbourhood
i finally bought a few shares of HEMP, and am looking for any information surrounding where the gov’t stands on the extraction of cbd from hemp. As far as I know, said extraction is not currently allowed. These are my questions:
1. Is there any word on that policy changing? Any sense of a timeline?
2. Does that policy effect international sales? For instance, could cbd be extracting from hemp within Canada, if the target market was in another country (for instance Germany or Australia)?
any insight will be appreciated.
Im looking forward to days when this board becomes more active. I remember when the rti board was very much like this one; only the sound of crickets could be heard.
Good of luck and have fun,
handy

It is not legal. Lobbyists and the industry are trying to get that changed. This is a good source ... you can scroll down to see their position paper etc. This is the main body that lobbies and promotes the industry. https://www.hemptrade.ca/
