Share swap

I just talked to CRA and a share swap does not trigger a dispostion of shares,

If you sell the shares (post swap) you will have to figure out the adjusted cost base before and after.

Thats good to know. The one thing i am unsure about is if there are any tax implications from the UK? I would assume not because we are residence of Canada?Here is a link to the CRA website that has the info.
