so according to "full of gas bank"...;)....mordy owns 90% of Nord, Nord is "undervalued" because there is only 10% available to trade....(yeah, sure).....I got two questions: WHO owns that 10%??? Given mordy's track record I wouldn't be surprised if it turned out to be his brother, mother, nephews and nieces and a few of his employees (henchmen).
If the problem is liquidity...then why doesn't mordy just sell 10% of HIS holding in NORD and instantly double the free float of Nord??? VOILA! job done! (That is after all the advertized motivation behind the offer for HRG).....and then we'd see if this liquidity problem is REAL or if it's just a straw man argument.
My take is that NORD is indeed undervalued (and so is HRG by association) but it's because mordy owns so much of it and not too any people are interested because of that. Who'd want to get into bed with this guy when everybody else that's gone there, by way of mordy's past "consolidations" got shafted???
I know one thing....after three years of watching this movie, the next time I'm looking at an investment....and the word "russian" comes up ANYWHERE in my research....I AM STAYING RIGHT AWAY!!!
"full of gas bank" says that mordy's got 75% of HRG and he's got 30% of minority shaErs locked up....if that's true he now controls 82-83% of HRG.....still a long way from his needed 90 so he can "legally" steal our shares at a discount. I'm thinking this movie still has a few reels to go before the lights come on....AND I'M NOT LEAVING TILL THE END CREDITS COME UP ON THE SCREEN. Packer.
