registering shares in ones name

should one just have to phone their broker to do this ? thanks

It is not quite that simple. First, if you have HRG in multiple accounts, ie equities, rrsp, etc. then you will have to register the shares in each account. Questrade informed me that the cost was $300 per account to register them ($450 for expediated process). Once they are registered i believe you need to call in your trades as you can no longer trade them online.
