Fred, it has been months since I made any comments on this board and my reasoning is quite simple. I have a share holding in mid 6 figures and I stand to lose much more than I could afford, given the fact that I am already 20 years into retirement. However, I have held on for five or six years now, through all the BS with management changes and hidden news, like frozen crushers etc, because I ...more

Agreed Fred, it seems like this company has shaken so many out over the years it's almost to the point where I am willing to watch it go to zero but refuse to sell unless it is a buyout.  I'm not nearly as invested as you are but as a percentage of portfolio I'm irresponsibly long HRT. Will all the overvalued play out there I just kept slowly adding to the one place where I feel ...more

I ran the Q3 numbers through my little financial model as well projections going to 5,000ozs per month.   My analysis shows a reasonable cashflow and would confirm the companies assertion that it cashflow can cover operational costs.   I also took some time and read the credit agreements put on Sedar.  A  tough read and tough agreements - 14% interest going to up to ...more

Good analysis GOBOGOH.Covers a lot and explains a few things about the debt. With so many shares outstanding it's hard to even consider the sale price.Frazer mentioned something about Harte being one of the few companies whose market cap was the same as the debt outstanding. There has been more than a couple of hundred million poured into this venture. The value has not been unlocked in my ...more

Homestone, Thanks for the compliment.  Anyone potential buyer would not care about the number shares outstanding - 1 billion, 2 billion, it won't affect the offer price.  The offtake agreement would have an impact and the debt would if it is not converted - the purchaser would need to deal with these.   However, if the price of gold holds and the operations are running well ...more

I am fortunate to have got in at a decent price avg.13.I saw .75 and kick myself for not selling, but there is always lingering doubt. What if I had sold and it went to 1.50? I made some rookie mistakes for sure. I should have traded a portion of my shares on the ups and downs.Anyways that is in the past and I am willing to hold until a sale.A couple more years I'm thinking.Appian doesn't ...more

I am tired of seeing its poor SP performance for last 2 years. Increased gold price made many junior exploration companies skyrocketing, but this one is sticking to the floor. In fact, it went down from pre-gold rush time. What a shiittyy company and management.

I disagree. The present management seems to know what is what and has a plan going forward. For reasons unknown the prior management left the scene.Frazer has lots of experience in Ontario mining and is staking his reputation on being able to turn this company around.I wouldn't exactly say it is a shitty company, after all we are sitting on 1.5 million ounces of gold. There are money problems ...more

I am not convinced. It is not about new stories, but the data and facts. 1.5 Moz is not enough to drive this company anymore due to the startup issues. This resource will simply run out by the time we talk about their issues. I agree with TT8 though. If they could hit something there and add up the overall value, we might see a positive move. But remember, only thing we know until now is all ...more

Paray ,Please look at a general exploration to mining  timeline graph and you will see it to be cyclical ,and not a straight  line rising graph. I have been here for 7 plus years ,and I am not happy either, but  continue to hold shares. If you are so impatient ,why don't you take the tax loss and move on?
