JR,  You hit it right on the head. "Where's the BEEF?" Exactly! We could use Dave Thomas  right now to help us hit a "single" , "double" or even "triple"...hold the fries. Thanks to you and now, Homestone, for well-thought-out commentary and civil discourse on our "favorite" mine. Thanks!

Thanks Ballot,I try to keep it civil.Slipped up a bit but apologized so move on.I've been following Harte since the beginning.Even before the bulk sample.I live in the area and have seen Harte grow from a handful of employees and no road ,no mine, no power line, basically just bush to where it is now.A working mine with many employees and a huge property.I have waited for and read all the news ...more

Homestone, You are the best a giving the short, "elevator ride" version of Harte history and prospects and issues. My story goes back about 7 years. I would NEVER have invested in Canadian gold mining had it not been for my admiration for what Stephen Roman, and his father, had done over the years. I'm sticking pat since this is the only mine I can even pretend to know much about ...more

.Thanks Ballot,I'm sticking  pat as well.If you like I could write a much longer discourse on Harte but maybe leave that for another time.I would like to write about the discovery of TT8 though.Only discovered 2 years ago and quite the story. It would be nice if something came of it.The drills are turning so who knows. As for Canadian mining, there are many success stories and it is safe ...more

Homestone, I have heard that one of Harte's original prospectors had a trap line near TT8 property at one time.Is there any truth to this?
Comment by Homestone on May 03, 2021 2:55pm
A trapper yes,but I'm not sure where his trapline is/was.From what I know the TT 8 area was by and large ignored because of government mapping. No one thought to look there. It only came to light on account of road building in the area.Pure chance. It would have sat there undiscovered for who knows how long if it weren't for that road put in at that particular place and for the person who ...more

Ballot, I have read where Steve Roman Sr.  Gave most of his money to the Catholic Church. My take on this  is that in some way he did this to avoid taxes. I will never know, but if the church got all this money why didn't  the church finish the church that Roman started to build in Toronto?
Comment by ballot123 on May 03, 2021 4:17pm
I only met Steve Roman, Sr. once at a family gathering in the States. Actually, Stephen had flown his father to that event as he did so many other places. Steve, Sr. was a true Horatio Alger 'rags to riches" phenom IMHO.  I've read about some of the controvery that followed him. What's new for such a successful, willful entrepreneur.  I also know he was a strong ...more

Ballot ,So could this mean you are somehow related to the Romans?
