Maybe a slow sag while we await the next disaster.  I think there was considerable propping up at .06 so it should bottom out there, for now.

You said you bought more at the low prices and so did I.We have to hope there are no more disasters.I am cautiously optimistic about the news.At least BNNP didn't pull the plug..No one knows what is coming down the pipeline. We wait again.

What I'm quite puzzled about is how this company has not been able to rectify their AISD costs. Even with several management teams put in place they haven't been able to make this company profitable. Either it's been done on purpose or it's just too complex for those teams to turn this company around. Cash flow/financing problems is a huge issue but the profitability is a ...more

I think the Sugar Zone mine and mill will operate for years to come, and the employees, the suppliers, the town of White River, the current creditors, and the future owners will all benefit from it.  I’ve been watching closely and trying to work out how I could benefit from it too, but I haven’t figured that out yet.  It might work out well for people who buy in at the current low price, ...more

I agree with much of what you wrote here.  A "stategic purchase" as announced by NG at the time comes in many forms.  One may be a block to Barrick or others as a buyer. I have also seen "strategic purchases" used as a personal favor to management from an industry friend to bridge the completion of a deal and I have seen that happen from Billionaire to Billionaire ...more

Golden, can you see Appian selling royalty and hedge to Nomad in some sort of deal?
Comment by Goldon45 on Aug 01, 2021 9:21am
I have steered clear of Nomad discussion so far, not because I don't like or trust a deal with them, I just didn't think HRT was of that mind set.  I know SR certainly was not.  From what we see on the surface now and what rumors we may hear or hear bits of, yes, I think that is one of many possible outcomes for Appian and HRT.  Right now though, I am suspicious of the NG ...more

I hate to say I told you so... It has been a pattern repeated at least 30 times now.   Look at the current bids,  Look at the current ask,

Volume is VERY, VERY low at these prices. Tells us something.

The path to profitability is there. Its just getting the TPD up and hitting the increased grade as they get deeper. This requires some capital so I think the best outcome is being taken over by a mid-sized company that can afford to get through the hedge, debt , and invest some money to get operations streamlined. My guess is that there is some potential for this to happen but some of the numbers ...more

Wawa, from what I hear Dumas and Manroc both have miners on 3 month contracts on site as Harte employees , and now there are supposed to be some  Sudbury miners also on site . If Harte can't get this increasing ore tonnage to the mill to increase  mill output to 800 tpd something is wrong. They were also lifting the tailings area to sustain 800 tpd,but not sure if job is complete ...more
