Homestone

Keep expressing your views Homestone and also your knowledge of what’s happening around White River. We don’t know what’s going to happen with this mine at this juncture, there are a lot of opinions and that’s what exactly what they are. There are some facts that come across this board also. It depends how one interpits them and where the source is coming from to be truth. Trying times for this mine for sure.    Cheers.

Yes ,very true about opinions. It's said that opinions are like a$$holes.Everyone has one. There are justifiably very angry people on this board and they like to put their 5 cents in too.I have to put them on ignore. After reading about Appian and knowing that they resigned from the board I am under the impression that they would like to get full control of Harte and run it as they see fit.This ...more

Homestone I totally agree with your comment however retail shareholders are probably going to get screwed The way this is headed

I have to agree. The last news release pretty much spelled that out in black and white.Several offers to consider but none that would benefit shareholders.Enough to pay the bank and the other lien holders. The rest will likely be left holding the bag.Who really knows? There is probably a fight for control but at the cheapest possible price.Even stellar drill results and an increase in gold price ...more

If you are still hold ing as a long at this point, you have no one to blame but yourself for your pending loss.  There has been a lot of opportunity to make money on this company and there still is. You just have to act.  Yes, right now the money is in volume.  It really surprises me when people can't see this.  Murray Pezim told me one thing that really stuck as a young ...more

I totally understand all of that Goldon and agree 100 percent.I am guilty of falling in love with Harte.Totally my own fault for being in the position I am in.Lick the wounds and learn from the mistakes.Trouble is at this point I don't have the wherewithal to do what you are doing.Cheers

Goldon how is there and opportunity to still make money on the stock? Buy at two cents and sell at 3 cents ? Or short the stock?
Comment by Homestone on Nov 07, 2021 1:47pm
I think He already explained it in a previous post.First of all you have to have the money. Then you have to take the risk. It's not for everyone.Say you have 10 grand that you are willing to risk.At 2.5 cents you would get 400,000 shares. If it went up to 3 cents and you immediately sold them you would get 12 grand less the fees.Having said that ,the opposite could happen. You could lose,perhaps ...more

And of course the risk is that while you're holding those 2.5 cent shares, waiting for 3 cents, a halt is announced, a deal is made, and when it re-opens your $10 grand had dropped to $4 grand, for a loss of 60%, instead of your hoped for gain of 20%.  It can be a lucrative game, if you can successfully repeat the trade several times before the game ends, and/or avoid being long at the ...more

Exactly.  As I have pointed out several times before though, HRT reacts very negatively.  It recovers typically in a couple of days to a new low or back to pre-"news" levels.   There is a risk, no doubt and if you haven't studied the trends with HRT, I wouldn't recommend it.  When it hit 1.5 the other day, I started buying, hedging on that overreaction and ...more
