Pure gold

As seen on Mining.com, Pure Gold reports 3rd Quarter results. This company has many similarities to Harte's operating history. Have a look.

Thanks for that Fred.Interesting how similar operations can differ so much.One made the grade and the other failed.I know the story is not over with the Harte gold mine, the question is who will be running the operation.There is lots of unrealized potential to be unlocked.That was the mantra from both Sam and Frazer ,however things didn't exactly turn out that way.Remains to be seen.

After doing a lot more reading about Pure Gold and reading an article that explains what went wrong I realize that they are pretty much in the same position as Harte Gold.High expectations,Aisc way above what was projected and high debt.Both companies jumped the gun and went into production too soon without a proper understanding of the orebody.My mistake in thinking Pure Gold was doing well.Soon ...more

I would add that they are a year or two behind Harte. Time will tell whether management makes a difference or such projects are doomed to fail without a larger and more accelerated production plan.
