Is Harte’s director is paid almost 10% of total market cap?

Just wondering how much mr. Roman gets paid as an independent director? Wallmine site says it is CAD$2,631,500. Ha ha ha..... he should be rewarded for taking all the retail investors who believed in him to the drain!
Comment by Paray99 on Nov 24, 2021 4:59pm
Read it as 'was' paid..... He doesn't seems.to be with Harte anymore!
Comment by Homestone on Nov 24, 2021 6:49pm
Roman has been gone for two years Paray. At one time he had 30 million shares and last I see is about 20 million.Looking at the insider information you can see that he put close to a million of his own money into Harte. For instance 10 million shares at 5 cents for 500,000 dollars .A million shares at 30 cents for 300,000. A lot of the insiders put big money into this venture and I don't ...more

Does that all sound like there is a return for this stock? Or the Australians silently take it over?
Comment by BobTheKnob2 on Nov 25, 2021 1:24am
Right now I would say that Australians are very keen on Canadian mining properties. Safe jurisdiction, no language barrier, similar legal framework. Newcrest two weeks ago made a move on Pretium after already taking a significant ownership in the neighbouring Red Chris mine from a couple years ago. There is going to be more action happening - a result of current political priorities which are ...more

Yes as you say New crest but even smaller Australian companies are targeting the safe juristiction of Canada for example Auteco minerals at Pickle Crow. If this is the case and Australians are seeing unexploited value then from the point of view of Harte let's get value from this asset! Mr Bouchier was appointed at the time Appian were 'managing' Harte, since when they have withdrawn ...more

This is exactly what SLR intends to do with Harte - imho. SLR has cash in the 3-digit million range, no depts and the expertise of successful acquisitions. Why not draw a line in the sand and invest in SLR (blatantly undervalued imo) and thus participate in a rosy future?
Comment by MudCreeker on Nov 25, 2021 10:07am
If one believes in the geology and mine vision, at this stage, the investment that suggests itself is Silver Lake, IMHO.  That might change in the next few weeks, but at the moment they appear to be the most likely to wind up mining this thing.
Comment by Homestone on Nov 25, 2021 10:33am
Would it not be in the best interest of both Appian and New gold to try to prevent that from happening considering their substantial investments in Harte? It would be best if it could stay as Harte Gold somehow, someway. Then current shareholders would benefit from realizing the potential of the company..If it gets grabbed up for cheap by a company ,foreign or not it will be a crying shame.

aka NG making a counter offer?
Comment by Pknagg on Nov 25, 2021 11:11am
Bring it on!!!
Comment by RedBaron1234567 on Nov 25, 2021 11:13am
Counter offer?? on what? no offer had been made.  this is not a counter offer kind of situation Silver Lake has assumed the debt They control everything, just as long as Silverlake can pull the trigger anytime they want and put harte into receivership no one else is coming forward with any offer or counter offer. counter offer ....what does that even mean   Silver lake is not ...more

In the best interest of harte is no longer relevant Silverlake purchased BNP debt to secure hartes assets and they are in control
Comment by Pknagg on Nov 25, 2021 11:24am
No, they may have come out of the sun in red triplane but they have only joined the battle not wone it!! We seem to have a lot of people promoting the SL cause here am I on the wrong board?
Comment by remedy on Nov 25, 2021 11:37am
These debt loans are all open to repayment in full, SL can not stopn another party with a new loan on better terms to clear all debts with one patient investor/Co  to take advantage of Hartes future potental. Not saying it can happen, but many scenarios where BOD and shareholders stay alive for possible payback in the future, of something.
Comment by Pknagg on Nov 25, 2021 12:24pm
exactly what I tried to say earlier and shareholders need to see someone in senior management promoting the assets which these parties, should pay a fair price for.
Comment by RedBaron1234567 on Nov 25, 2021 1:53pm
Remedy  I would love nothing more than me to be wrong and you to be right  it's called a "favour bank" and Silver lake called on a favour and BNP served up harte on a silver platter  I don't think that silver lake went to all the trouble of purchasing the debt just to loose control that easily

Red, your view seems most possible. Having made a large investment here, i am not prepared to write it of, just yet.  I see  many solutions here "IF"   they all believe that there is a potentail for 6-10 million oz on all claims, if they believe because I have been brainwashed to also believe by previous management. Remember this is HIGH GRADE. May give us more ...more

they are in control of their part of Hartes debt. I outlined earlier other scenarios
Comment by MudCreeker on Nov 25, 2021 2:01pm
You are absolutely correct.  They control PART of Harte's debt - the part that has a first lien against ALL of Harte's assets.  That puts them in the driver's seat. The phrase "counter offer" implies that there is an offer to counter.  There isn't.  Until there is, there is basically one path forward. Could someone make an offer to pay off all the ...more

Of course, HARTE shareholders will be looking down the tubes, but could they seriously hope for a turnaround ? Maybe they will receive some kind of baksheesh for their HARTE shares, but unfortunately that's about all there is to it. We SLR shareholders have been living with the fear of being taken over on the cheap for years. Because despite its latest quarterly financial report for the ...more
