HRT Playbook

If one examines the HRT Solimoes Basin Playbook, they do the front part of the EDP resource gameplan

Explore - found great gas assets already, did a farm-in with TNK-BP for $1,000,000,000, certain milestones.

Development - this is when TNK-BP plays a larger role

Production - HRT% changes from majority to minority and TNK-BP get's into drivers seat and pays more milestones to HRT and higher % of costs

I expect the same offshore Nam with GALP as HRT winds down it's 86% into development and then production. Go broke....are you kidding?

Some of the doughhead posters here complain that production is a few years off...so what? First HRT needs to find oil. That's the first binary event in Exploration. If they are only interested in production then go and buy those companies and stop complaining here.

And yes, HRT is not drilling a production well into Wingat, it's drilling an Exploration well into Wingat

The next doughhead poster about SP going from $10 to $1 gains an Ignore from me...who freaking cares anymore....what about the UNX 80 cents to $6?

So HRT has lost 90% of SP ...what's the downside from here? According to those doughheads is seems like it's a whack more than 10%...if your downside is only 10% and you can't sleep at night and post that here, join my Ignored list.

From my analysis, the downside risk is rather limited compared to the upside potential. If Wingat finds a great pool of oil, first drill, the line-up around MM's office in Rio will be huge, as will SP. New oil district with 3 more Exploration wells to be drilled right away.....not a Chariot vapor dream.

“not a Chariot vapor dream.” ...made me laugh! However, as I pointed out down thread, each attempt, as long as it’s by skilled geologists examining processed 3D data adds to the collective COS. Someone is going to strike it big time off Nam!

Why was Chariot drilling "vapor dreams"? "   "Leading up to and concurrent with drilling, Chariot acquired, processed and interpreted substantial amounts of seismic data. As a result, Chariot now holds the most extensive deep water well database and what we believe to be the second largest 3D seismic d atabase in the country which is invaluable to the continued development ...more

"Someone is going to strike it big" For your 85% cos to work you have to make the assumption that there are commercial oil deposits. Thta is like trying to figure the odds of winning the mega lotto...sometimes their are no winners.

"If one examines the HRT Solimoes Basin Playbook"  OK, let's examine it.  TNK was not a farm in. They bought the half of Solimoes that HRT did not own. "milestones" I don't think any one of them were met.    "SP going from $10 to $1 gains an Ignore from me...who freaking cares anymore....what about the UNX 80 cents to $6?" The major reason ...more

MM bought UNX for stock pumped up tp $10 that now is worth $1.00..basically MM got UNX for nothing

“For your 85% cos to work you have to make the assumption that there are commercial oil deposits” 1.   We know there is oil-bearing rock off Nam: the Kudu gas formation proves it. 2.   Comparing previous Nam wildcat efforts is like apples to oranges: they didn’t have satellite data, 3D seismic, oil biomarkers, modern-day understanding of the geology, etc, etc. 3.   ALL ...more

"2.   Comparing previous Nam wildcat efforts is like apples to oranges: they didn’t have satellite data, 3D seismic, oil biomarkers, modern-day understanding of the geology, etc, etc." From Chariot's website. Seems to disagree with your #2. " "Leading up to and concurrent with drilling, Chariot acquired, processed and interpreted substantial amounts of seismic data. As ...more

Was not referring to CHAR, but the previous 10 or so wildcat wells. CHAR just ran into the statistics of COS, something HRT will remedy through numbers (including CHAR's two boreholes)
