MM - Adult Supervision...not so much

I wondered how long the new BOD "Adult Supervision" and the founder of HRT, would stay out of conflict.

Not long as it turns out.

Sadly it's before the fullfilment of MM's dreams of creating an Independant oil producer.

So what's the game(s) being played? HRT get's bought out now, cheaply, perhaps IPEX get's hived off to MM + golden handshake and shareholders get hooped? Pennies on the barrels.

Remember the Nam data room? Something like 35 Co's signed....won't buy HRT after looking at this data and one Co didn't sign, didn't get a look, they just wanted to buy HRT cheap. Why pay $500M for 30% offshore Nam when $900M will buy the entire Co?

Wonder how many hostile offers MM has stared down, clearly after the recent shareholder vote, MM feels he can't count on shareholders to support his vision to build this Co into a producer, freaking Hedgies that only worry about this Q's performance and bonus, not about building long term value.

My guess is that MM regrets taking HRT public this early in Exploration cycle.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery

as far as I know it would take a shareholder vote to sell the company cheap to a hedge fund. I don't see it happening before the 3 drills are completed and the solimoes written off. Plus, if a hedge fund saw great value here, why buy the company for $3 when you can buy all the shares you want for $1.27 and a lot less a week from now
