What some of you may not know is that all modern-day drillers using "logging while drilling sensors" that pretty much confirmed the absence of oil in Wingat weeks ago. With this failure, we have the exit of the two guys most responsible for the misinterpretion of the 3D data.

landmann, Your statements tend to misrepresent  the facts reported  so far. As far your statement that the LWD confirmed the "absence of oil", how do you explain the oil shows they reported. LWD does not confirm the quanities of oil in the reservoir.  They would have seen crossover on the density  and neutron log, indicating hydrocarbons. This along with the

My point is that MM did not depart his CEO position over some  boardroom antics.  He knew what the results were from the LWD and the fact the sp would tank once it was revealed to the rest of us.
