An answer to your questions...

Gus (AKA missed the short bus) and Robhood (AKA Robbin "the cradle" tard) ~ asked why no one answers their questions, simple:

1. 90% of the people here have you on ignore

2. Everyone else sees no reason to waste their time with the 2 of you

3. I think you are both funny, and prove just how intelligent everyone is.

Thanks Beetches

Bro..when HRT was $10 you said "it is going to da moon"...and I said the sp was going to $1.00..readers who followed your advice are broke and readers who followed my advice are millionaires

I've been a long term observer of this board.  It's been a difficult read with the high degree of vacuous trash talk that commonly takes place.  Knowing the history of everyone's predictions, I'm motivated to weigh in with a dose of my perception of reality before I'm put on ignore by those who disagree. I'm no expert in the area of oil exploration but I do know ...more

You lost me at "I'm no expert in the area of oil exploration".

someething is wrong with the ref here.  surely you can't score a point for someone who said there was no oil of Nam and it has been concllusively proven otherwise.  Unless you have jmade some sort of gross oversight it appears you are simply another that goes in the Robnhood and Gus camp iand is ddisingenious.  This kind of tomfoolery is what gets people put on ignore not ...more

Are you nuts--No one is interested in a half litre of oil 5000 metres below sea level in an abandoned hole.  When MM said there was oil in them there hills he said the word beeelions of barrels, not a half litre. Stocks that "hit oil" in the accepted sense of the phrase do not crash to all time lows.

I'm in the numbers camp, no other.  No arguing with where the share price has gone.  Personally, I'm hoping for a big find in Namibia as, to date,  I've taken a major bath on this stock and would like to recover a few of the substantial dollars that I've burned on this play thus far. PB
Comment by kaosblues on May 27, 2013 6:35am
That is precisely where you are so off track and out to lunch Robnhood.  Both you and Gus fail to appreciate the monumental significance of finding oil of any quantity off of Namibia and you do so at your own peril.  You simply don't have the majones to admit 1) You both were wrong about the hypothesis...and now like a couple of greasy slimeballs are trying to explain it away with a ...more

Pennybags:  Well,  I think that is a reasonable point of view except that the market does not always get it right.  If they hit in commercial quantities off Namibia then the SP will eventually easily climb above and beyond and you should be in relatively good shape.  The question is not whether commercial oil will be found however, the real question is whether HRP will be the ...more

Thanks Kaosblues.. My feeling is that a commercial find will eventually occur in Namibia.  Just hope that eventually starts with Murombe as I am concerned that HRT will run out of money before it makes "the big find". The key issue expressed in my earlier post is the constant adolescent bashing of folks that have had contrarian opinions and fundamentally have been right.  Would ...more

Yeah, and Dome Pete went from $110 to Zero. He found oil in the Solimoes as well. So far that has not done the company any good.  Like Pennybags I am only concerned with the price of the stock.  If it goes to zero and 20 years from now someone "finds oil" on Namibia, I don't give a dam.
Comment by kaosblues on May 27, 2013 8:45am
Well now you are singing a new tune Robnhood.  To be concerned about the amount of assets and resources HRP has as well as the SP is an altogether different issue than whether they found oil off Namibia whether in commercial quantities or not.  Perhaps they will hit commercial quantities on the next well or two and perhaps not, but that is different than coming out with ...more

bait and switch is your act. To split hairs and say that oil was found is of little interest to me if it is not enough to move the stock price higher.  I don't know what your interest is. I already told you that the CEO said "BILLIONS OF BARRELS"--- Why you keep posting that he was right is not true.  I am here to try and make some money on the stock market, not try to get ...more

I don't get you-- Finding dribs and drabs of oil 5000 meters below sea level or in  tight rock in the middle of the rain forest a million miles from anywhere is not worth anything in todays market. You talk like that part of the story is entirely irrelevant.  Perhaps you are endlessly wealthy and buy stock to prove you were on the right track to your great great grandchildren.

Robnhodd:  If you are truly here to make money then there are a couple of things you had better wrap your head around.  One, wildcatting is a risky proposition no matter where in the world you do it.  If you are going to invest in companies that are pursuing it then you had best be prepared for some losses.  But of course you can also get some great gains. It does not ...more

Your sounding like all those fearmongerers and doomsdayers that said they would never find oil in commercial quantities in the Beaufort, in the North Sea, off Brazil even in Alberta and in the Gulf of Mexico.  Boy were they ever sharp as tacks!  Not!
Comment by robnhood on May 27, 2013 7:58pm
Kaos, Kaos--- You are a newby-- Go back and give a listen to MM's talks and promises.  Exceedingly convincing and never a hint "wildcatting is a RISKY proposition"-- never a word, nor a doubt-- The oil, "BILLIONS UPON BILIONS OF BARRELS, Ladies And Gentlemen. If they hit in commerical quantities will you admit you were dead wrong?  A simple Yes or No will suffice.
Comment by robnhood on May 27, 2013 8:24pm
NO--  How can anyone know that they will or will not hit?  I have never ever said that they will not hit. ( "hit" meaning something someone actually cares about) And a question for you-- will you admit that they have not lived up to even one of their promises and have not "hit" enough oil to fill a 4 litre pail?  A simple yes or no will do----
Comment by gusgold on May 27, 2013 9:08pm
"If they hit oil admit you were wrong"...If they hit oil on HRT-1..HRT-2...HRT-3..HRT-4...HRT-5...HRT-6...HRT-7...HRT-8...HRT-9..HRT-10...HRT-11...Wingat...and now the big question now is what happens IF the next two wells are dusters
Comment by robnhood on May 27, 2013 9:19pm
" If they hit in commerical quantities will you admit you were dead wrong?  A simple Yes or No will suffice."  If you win the 1/2 billion power ball lottery will you launch a takeover bid for HRT and put up every nickel you won? Lets face it , "they found oil".  Sure thing... A simple Yes or No will suffice.
Comment by kaosblues on May 28, 2013 5:19am
That is the difference between the two of us.  If I were to be proven wrong which i have not as of yet, I would readily admit it, because I have no ulterior motives,  you have clearly indicated that even if you are proven wrong you would not admit it.   That pretty well sums up what you are and it isn't pretty and now this board has conclusive proof ...more
