Volatile as f*ck

Is there something I'm missing? Yesturday lots of love for Harv. Today everyone hates it. I thought the proforma revenue in the Q1 was great, EBITA was down but expansion cost up so seems fine. Announced the CBD distribution to 10,000 high foot traffic stores like 7-11 and gas stations. Reassurance from analyst projecting SP to hit 26CDN (although I think that's a but high). The only thing I can think of is Medmens dismal of the lawsuit; people loving them today. Moving money from Harv to Medmen??? Seriously what gives? The volatility in these cannabis stocks is unreal!

Totally agree. There's no logic or reason for Harvest to be doing worse than others. I totally get the whole market being down and Harvest following that spiral, but why does Harvest suffer the most? Don't people look into the stocks that they're buying/selling and make any rational decisions?

I wonder though what percentage of shares the "early investors" are selling. If its considerably low, I get the desire for cash on hand, but if its large that to me is a bearish signal. However, unless I'm reading it wrong, SOMEONE BOUGHT A ...more

I'm pretty certain Harvest said there were roughly 70MM shares (~50MM from San Felasco & ~18MM from legacy holders) unlocked in the last couple of weeks.  Based off conversations with those shareholders, it's assumed that roughly 20MM may be traded.  Looks like 12MM shares were brokered the other day at $8.50.  That leaves about 8MM shares possibly left to be brokered or ...more
