Hopefully someone can help

I'm a bit new here, but I bought majority with HUT (1600 @ $6.84) and BITF (3350 @ $4.49), some minor ones with QBTC and BTCG.  With all of these being in the red on a daily basis, I'm a bit concerned.  What should I do???

You could loss 100% of 0.    If you don't sell    What and see where China settles overnight before taking any loss

I want to remain optimistic and hold onto these longer if need be.

I personally would hold and just re-buy a new low. Sell that new high. Lower your overall average and slowly unload until you're happy with your new average :) or just bite the bullet and go long. If we see $2 I'm biting the bullet and adding

Thanks, I rather bite the bullet in the long-haul.  I'll hold onto it as I'm hopeful, but how long do you think I'll have to hold onto it for? umm, also I'm not sure what advice twpt was giving me. He suggested I put a "sell order" first thing tomorrow morning...

you asked for advice and you got it - only 2 options really, sell or hold, he gave you 50% of the potential answers lol

I would suggest calling your direct investing/banking institution hotline, they'll answer all trading related questions. Inquire with the intent to buy stock, but ask the questions you want answers to - buy/sell/limits/stop losses. basically this user meant - 'place an order of shares to sell at a certain price if you don't want to lose more than you already have'. Good luck, ...more

I can't give you advise, but here is my trading strategy: If a sector is out of favour and my stock is down 20 % I sell. There is a cost of holding a stock that is under water, called opportunity cost. If my stock doubles I sell half and then have free shares. Good luck.

Thanks Zola2.  I guess I just wanted some reassurance or a rough idea how HUT and BITF will perform in the coming months and by year end!

If you dont want to lose it all, you might want to place a sell order first thing in the morning.
