If we used your logic, every gold mine in history was not worth investing in because they were all destined to run out.  Miners like HUT are already planning for the future, albeit one far in ahead.  That is why they are branching out into ethereum, power deals to cut costs and gaurantee greener energy supplies.  Blockchain is growing so fast that who knows where it ends up.
