Technicals are also showing as being way overbought on the 4HR RSI and Stochastic..  BTC shorts on Bitfinex are just off the all time high, they are nowhwere near the all time low as you say.  That's an absolutely false statement. There was a crapload of Tether printed this past week that's driving this market up right now.  It's pure manipulation and not based on

yes, you are correct.  That was my mistake.  There is a large short position on Bitfinex and some are covering already.  Any catalyst could cause a short squeeze but who knows with these unpredictable markets. Some $234 million worth of bitcoin is currently betting price will go down, but for the past two weeks, price has been going up, leading to about 7,000 bitcoin shorts
