The odds going into the lottery were very low assuming 6000- 8000 expressions of interest. The expressions of interest exceeded the general estimates and we all realized that the odds were much lower than we thought.

Or were they...

There are currently 15-17 new license holders out there who have 5 days to submit an application.
SpirirtLeaf, recently at the Canadian Fracnhise Expo in Toronto, is a very attractive option with such limtied time. Other retailers who have expanded their potential retail footprint have an opportunity to bring these license holders in.

Fire and Flower in Toronto has a built out store front with signage, Expect them to get a license into that location.

It seems the lottery system may contain a silver lining if the franchise model proves to be a popular option for license holders.

Clocks ticking....The Catalyst is the announcment of retail locations for these licenses.

High risk, high reward indeed. Traders have a week to get the price down before we know if ISH is a Bang or Bust.
