INTC is going to get crushed regardless. AMD earnings aside, INTC keeps clinging to the past and what once worked. Even now rehiring Gelsinger and bringing Hinton out of retirement seems more a move of desperation because it worked before. But it really didn't. They just seem incapable of evolving. No real apparent strategy and just continuous musical chairs. It's almost like a serial ...more

Totally agree.....and even if they want to pivot to a new business model the pain of writing off the factories that don't work will be so intense it will be hard to find a CFO willing to go that direction. A lot of pain coming as they will continue to loose market share and margin.

Yep, they're a mess. But just I thought, Gelsinger is sticking to the past. It's like a husband who keeps buying his wife flowers to make up for being an a jerk because flowers always worked before. Well eventually they don't and not changing your nature gets you a divorce and frozen dinners while she moves on to something better. That's Intel. It's not working and people are ...more
