09:49 AM EDT, 06/24/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Intertape Polymer Group Inc. (ITP.TO) said Friday that it has received the approval under the Investment Canada Act for the planned acquisition of the company by an affiliate of Clearlake Capital Group L.P. for $40.50 per share.

The company's shares rose 1.8% on last look on Friday.

The arrangement is expected to complete on June 28.

The quarterly dividend of US$0.17 ($0.22) per share will be paid immediately before the closing of the arrangement on June 28, the company said.

RetireDCF: Deal closing soon.    What else do you like in arbitrage land in Canada or company's trading for below net net cash,   or net net working capital?     We seem to congregate to many of the same stock.  I do like the ELF, EVT,  and UNC complex run by the Jackman's.      And of course Ray Sahi MRC and TWC.
