I was unaware of this issue but have just been reading about it.You are probably right about this being the negative catalyst. However, I don't think Ivanhoe's China operations are in the same category as the ones mentioned. So, hopefully the dust will settle soon. It's very annoying.

Only thing they have to investigate is whether 1 B Dollar cash on hand is there or not. If yes, they should leave Sino Forest  alone.  Otherwise, the mgmt will  privatize TRE with the money and the shareholders will suffer while the Chinese are laughing to the bank. JMO
