refurbished

Those who live in Toronto may have noticed the front page of the TorontoSun today. Ontario to spend 26 to 40 BILLION on refurbishment of nukereactors in Ontario. Also they are adding to the mega watt capacity ofcertain reactors to keep pace with demand in the future. Andthe Russians are going to stop selling their decommissioned nuke weaponuranium soon...

Some more info.  I also saw on BNN some portfolio manager on the show "Commodities".  He said the actual price of Uranium is only about 2% of the total costs of running a plant etc, and that the price could go to many multiples of the $140 that U hit back a few years ago before it would have any impact whatsoever on anyone.  Good news for the producers and explorers.  ...more

The world has just over 400 nuclear plants and is adding about 100 more .Nuclear is the future! You can`t replace the big three (oil, gas ,coal ) with the little three ( wind ,solar ,bio ) . Nuclear has to be a huge part of a green future. Jack
