2017 quarter 4 Reults

After going through the report it looks as if most of the loss came from restarting the whole operation after shutting it down in 2015. They had to suspend many operations which resumed in december 2017, this limited them from producing at full capacity due to a ramp up. The ramp up plan will now be executed in 2018 and continue onwards. Everything is coming along slowly but surely.

Nothing disappointing here at all, in my humble opinion.    The best info is in the new 43-101 on Sedar.  For example page 285 has the opex estimates for the next 4 years. 2018 US$725m; 2019 US$737m; 2020 US$767m etc.   With production of 150kt and 11kt confirmed, the mine is looking at almost US$2bn is revenue this year and US$5bn next year.  Clearly this is going to be ...more
