KAT secures a DRC Supreme Court decision...
https://www.newswire.ca/news-releases/katanga-mining-provides-an-update-on-legal-proceedings-commenced-by-gecamines-682054711.html Excellent example of the use of legal due process (and even in DRC for those doubters out there...), KAT secures a DRC Supreme Court decision TO REMOVE the "Kolwezi Court" on any rulings wrt rule the Capital Deficiency Proceedings due to questionable "competency" of the "Kolwezi Court". To quote the PR: "As a precautionary measure, the Company obtained a decision from the Supreme Court of the DRC on May 4, 2018 allowing KCC to challenge the competency of the Kolwezi Commercial Court (the "Kolwezi Court") to rule on the Capital Deficiency Proceedings. The Kolwezi Court was notified of the decision of the Supreme Court on May 7, 2018. As a result of the decision of the Supreme Court, the Kolwezi Court concluded today that the previously scheduled Capital Deficiency Proceedings should be suspended until after the Supreme Court renders its decision. The first hearing of the Supreme Court is scheduled on June 15, 2018." These are my views only. Thanks for reading.

This may prove to be a very smart move. If the decision is made at the supreme court level, would it not create a strong precedent for future issues similar to this.
