Nothing is up. Its just a tight Level 2 imo. I've been trying to buy 200k more shares for two weeks now picking away at 39c and 40c never chasing the Ask. If you do, look what happens. 300k plus shares and you have a 27% pop. PS: I was filled on just over 38k more shares of that 200k These are my views only. Thanks for reading.

Topdop, you are right. But why would someone buy on market order (not limit order) unless he/she knows something big is coming? The price went up graduelly, which means there were multiple buyers with multiple market orders. They want to buy at any market price.

This is why I believe there are some news coming down and some investors are loading up. It’s the only logical explanation. Why else would someone go that far to pick up shares at any cost.  The big big news are coming and the key investors see it before it comes. Just look at what happened in January went from a low $0.50 to $0.80 in 3 days also for no reason. The same swing is coming again ...more

I agree. If you see the hart this has happened before, and not laways on news. I think there is a seasonal component (high in February) but other than that... perhaps people got excited when it started going up in the morning and people continued to buy. My guess is that it will fall back down. I intend to accumulate throughout the summer.

I think the catalyst for the move yesterday came from the BAML conference and Glencore's presentation.  Maybe there was a good Q & A that peaked some interest in KAT or just talk amongst execs and investors during the coffee breaks.

Sounds like USA will be stockpiling EV raw materials in competition with China. This will put KAT on the radar and bring the price up quick. I believe this is why people jumped into it so fast yesterday in this anticipation.  The EV revolution is here is it will be ramping up sooner then we thought.

... and there is no more discussion about hydrogen fuelcell cars that could make Li Ion batteries obsolet.

This was my thoughts too.  The US have made it clear hat there are entering the EV game and need to fix their supply chain and that they need to catch up to China and who is far ahead in this race.   Seems like the EV race has begun. :)

I believe Ivan spoke about the debt forgiveness they did last year with KAT and basically told shareholders it was necessary to increase the speed at which Gecamines would receive dividends from the operation.  They also mentioned that KAT would easily be able to pay off the residual debt over the life of the mine and fairly dramatically boosted their Cobalt demand estimation from EV’s over ...more
