we need north american to get on board with electric

I see china and europe getting on board with ev but not so much in north america. as long as crude oil is dropping there is no incentive for the consumer to switch over right now. the government needs to offer incentives like china does in big citys. we also need incentives for the infrastructure as well because we are not ready to support a revolution from this standpoint either. I think as long as opec keeps the oil price down and the USA is very close with the saudis then it will be longer than we think befor north america goes full steam ahead with electric. A new govenrment might change that. with that said I still think we are trading way to low and its only a matter of time before we get to a respectable level.

https://www.greentechmedia.com/articles/read/sunrun-hits-deployment-targets-expands-grid-services-contracts-in-q2 China has new coal plants because it's cheap, and creates/maintains jobs. https://www.inverse.com/article/54399-solar-energy-cheaper-than-coal-whats-next The harsh reality is: it's hard to buy low when you don't know what you don't know.
