Busy Week behind us and ahead

So looked like Haywood took some profits after patiently supporting KOR over the past couple years. Industrial Alliance averaged down a bit and continue to accumulate. Anonymous moving and shaking through out. I wish I had a better understanding on exactly what all the crosstrading means but at the end of they day volume has skyrocketed relative to historical levels and increased significantly excluding the cross trades. Trading interest continues to build along with the number of ounces drilled. Im too lazy to dig back through and add up the measured and indicated ounces at BullFrog but believe its close to 1.5 million. Again lazy and with a poor memory believe the old non-compliant resource measured and indicated at Motherload was something like 500k on a very small footprint that has now been stepped out to something like 3x the size already. From the last news release that shows increasing grade to the west perhaps indicating that the drilling is just getting close to the hotspot that could be the center of a new pit we could extrapolate many more ounces and a very large hole. Id then need a very large abacus to add in any deep ounces or any further 10+g/ton pockets. Stripping .5g/T material with lots of 3g+ in the shallows should make for eyebrow lifting AISC. With Bullfrog tossed in it feels pretty comfortable to think KOR will have nearly 5M ounces in there pocket come the fall PEA. Im looking forward to the day I can hack out rough estimates based on drilling and also to the next round of good news that should be just around the corner.

My take: Haywood had an investor who wasn't comfortable with lack of liquidity. A price was nogiatated to the advantage of the buyer that's why they drove the price down. I don't think there is much to the crosstrading, suspect a broker has been hired to facilitate trades on behalf of someone or some group. He quietly accumulates shares then crosses a large block to the buyers account ...more

I suspect that list isn't complete, there must be disclosure forms that are filed with the securities commission that give full disclosure. AngloGold Ashanti Limited and Tocqueville Asset Management L.P combined own almost 40% of the shares! wonder if they are connected? Market looking strong again today!

We will hear who it is soon enough. Feels like fresh blood to me....or could it be Coeur?!

Yes Haywood probably had an investor that needed to get out ie. fund redemptions, end of quarter, need to shift portfolio to another sector or just has a cash crunch. If they try and drop 2 million shares on the open market it would crush the share price and the float is so small on Corvus that it might not be possible for them to even filter the shares in over a couple of weeks. Its the same if ...more

There has been plenty of patient long long term institutional support for Corvus over the years so don't be surprised if some, maybe even insiders, continue to cash in some profits as the strategic investor takes a stranglehold on this stock. Low float is good. The liquidity is there if any large holders want to make a move. Enormous blocks being shuffled. Extremely well managed share ...more

Estitute observation Bengi. That would be great if it is true but don't they announce that sort of thing?
Comment by ZippyBenji on Jul 04, 2018 7:23pm
They could have moved their current stock holdings with plans of replentishing it with the options next month. They would announce it when the options are exercised. Alternately they would have to buck up $1.6M to exercise the options and either unload the shares on the market or increase their investment. The options will obvioulsy be exercised based on the price, lets hope they were presold  ...more
