The industrial alliance is still supporting and pushing the price up at will. They have also been a seller as of last few days. They are the market maker. Price is going up soon even with the massive volumes that have sold off lately.

They basically determine the price and aren't shy about buying up large $ amounts if they want. It must be Van Eck Associates Corporation who have increase their holdings to over 10.6M shares. They seem to be happy keeping it in this range for some reason, more blocks coming out? year end tax sell off? or it's just time to enjoy the holidays?

To me it's a little bit spooky that Van Eck can buy so many shares without the price moving up significantly.  They were at it again today in a huge way. If they sell off their position before the deal is done we are screwed. Price of gold is climbing Deepak hands are selling we should be north of 3$ very soon.

Only guessing but I assume there are some short term hands that bought a lot of the stock when they drove it down to $2. I suspect Van Eck, based on their investment holdings, is fully aware of how Kor is going to play out. There are times they push it up, times they hold it down and times they eat up every large block available.

True Benji, thing is the stock price has not continued to rise and my investment has gone stale. It appears the buy out will not happen in the short term and Corvus will continue to have to prove up more ounces adding to the risk. 2 million will not be adequate for many deep holes. To keep the shine on, Motherload will have to continue to expand. If they step back to Bullfrog we will take a hit ...more

If you have been following the share structure on Kor website you would have noticed that Tocqueville Asset Management L.P recently reduced their holdings by 1.5M shares and Van Eck Associates Corporation increased their holdings by 2.3M shares. The directors dumped a bunch and replenished it and increased their holdings. It looks like Van Eck has been buying up most of what's come out. If ...more

Yes Anglo drilling in the Silicon valley but it's next to impossible to find out what they are finding. Tocqueville taking some profits where they can but we don't want to be around when van Eck does the same.

Can't imagine it's in Van Eck's interest to start dumping, their ACB must be very high because they have been buying all the way up. When I look at the size of Van Eck's holdings in the major gold producers it becomes obvious that they must know exactly what is going to happen with Kor. Especially with the volume they can absorb when they choose to. If it's being held back or ...more
