Interesting interview. Gotta admit that for several years I was not convinced if KOR for Anglo was more than some little obscure investment just for old time's sake. Normally I wouldn't expect a gold major CEO to spend any interview time on an early or mid stage exploration project at all. The more I find it remarkable how explicitely Dushnisky is discussing the Corvus and Silicon ...more

Anglo can sit in there and watch the value of Corvus grow. Best they not sit too long or there will be competition to buy ....Silicon Valley drill results will be interesting news if it ever is released. Did Ron get a bunch of options and or did Catherine G sell out yet? Here shares could tell the story. A move away from 2$ would be nice. I have a feeling that Goldcorp has in fact relinquished it& ...more

After looking at the AngloGold Ashanti CEO video again, he is talking about partnering with Corvus not buy out. That might explain the 30M placement and recent Chairman appointment better. Maybe there has been a shift and they want to bring the property into production instead of buyout? Certainly gives insiders more opportunity to make $. How much $ is required to take it to the next step? Anglo ...more

Corvus will not be taking the property into production. I'd be shocked if Corvus raised 30M seems way over the top. No placement has been made yet just the 30m ceiling.

Hope you are correct. Anglo is now punching deep holes in the ground around the Corvus property, they probably need to understand how Covus + the Silicon property look as a whole. Corvus is still waiting for the deep hole rigs Anglo is currently using before they can start drilling deep. Corvus also hasn't come to the edge of the deposit and continues the step out drilling. This could shape ...more

I haven't put a huge effort into it but yea Anglogold is being super tight lipped about Silicon Valley. Maybe that says something. I suspect Corvus and Anglo have learned some huge geology lessons recently and Corvus aims to prove this up when they go deep and drill for new discoveries. We got a little taste with that 1 hole released today... the drill hole straight north on a line with Anglos ...more

Anglo is tight lipped because they want to see how the Corvus property fits in with their Silicon property. Corvus is waiting for the deep rigs Anglo is using before they can start the deep drilling. Maybe a nice deferral tactic to allow Anlgo to obtain more results on their property before Corvus potentially takes this to another level. I wouldn't be surprised if Anglo made a move on Covus ...more
