What Now?
So, congratulations LAC! Now then, is his dead money in the interim?

You are likely correct. During this stage stocks will tend to drift sideways as construction begins. It is not uncommon for delays or cost over runs. As well, the price of lithium has been dropping so some general weakness in the sector. Perhaps some good news out of South America will provide it a kick start in the coming months.

Starting to wonder if 29.50 is going to hold. Sure looks like the stock is going to take a dip down there.

Wow...that at 29.50 was weak...now downward to 26.50. No use jumping here in here and will just wait to see where it bottoms.

Sure looks like that 26.50 is going to get tested.

Any rally on this stock is met with heavy selling. So no rush for investors to add or take a position. Still think the stock tests 26.50 in the short term.

Looks like there was some selling on the news. If the SA operations do not provide income in the near future, it will probably be several years before the new mine comes on line and produce sales. SP would obviously go side ways at best barring investor fatigue.

If I recall correctly, Cauchari starts production in Q2 this year.. In my mind that's "near future".. even if its delayed to Q3 that's still near future, so no cause for concern IMO

Since the GM announcment the froth of speculation on this stock continues to be lopped off. Stock is currently sitting at the lower support level and looks like it many not hold. Patience will reward those who wait.

It appears LAC got side swiped by the news that hit ALB and SQM about Chilean holdings and the gov't latest decision regarding Li mining in that country.. Fortunately LAC has no holdings in Chile and this oversold situation is a chance to add or buy IMO since the Arena deal has closed.. ;-)

Here's a thought... although the long contracts in Chile shelter a lot of future production, if ALB & SQM decide not to invest any more money in that country, they could very well look at a take over of other companies to broaden their scope internationally.. this could put LAC in an enviable position of a take out target..?? Food for thought..??
