i use Scotia itrade... it shows my LAC shares but doesn't show my new LAAC shares.
is there something i need to do or does it just take a few days to go through ?

yes it might take a few days for them to show up from past experiences.. so far trading is positive though..

Very positive. Both lac/laac shares now around $24.25 compared to $21ish prior to split.

Could see a huge jump in laac shares in the coming months. Estimates of $21-$22Usd

I called Questrade today and they said it would take max 10 business days to reflect changes... perhaps Scotia is similar?

LMAO.. a caller into BNN just asked about LAC and Darren Cissens (sp?) doesn't know (and neither did the caller) as to why LAC shares are a fraction of what they were trading at on Monday..!  The blind leading the blind.. doesn't the caller know what he owns..? Doesn't he read press releases..? Doesn't the host or his management team realize the stock split into 2 seperate

I thought the exact same things when that guy called in. BOTTOM line is : know what you are buying and don't trust the information that these so-called experts on BNN are revealing.

The worst part of that BNN comment was the guest told the caller to "sell" based on not knowing a thing about the company..!!! I called in to tell the host and guest to clarify the misleading information and they revisited it, but didn't have a real handle on the details even then.. :-/

Hopefully the caller didn't sell right away as the shares took a drop before trading on realistic/proper information, and moved higher ever since..!  I knew there was going to be some strange trading the first day and would NEVER trade a stock that day, no matter what the stock was..!
