Victor2009, Nash's Departure From LBE

Victor2009,

So, given that you are/were such an avid fan of Dr. Gary Nash, and you placed so much emphasis on him both from a personal and professional perspective as a key element of LBE's future success, could you enlighten us as to why you think he was fired or departed from LBE?  Was it for personal reasons, lack of effort or company performance as perceived by JJ, misaligned loyalties (JJ versus minority shareholders), conversion of the preferred shares, or anything else you can think of?   What do you believe will be the impact for minority shareholders?  Given that Dr. Nash brokered the whole JJ deal, and he is toast, do you still believe there is no change in risk for minority shareholders?

On another note, are you not a Kesha fan?

doingthejob/aatozz,You don't have to use the "are/were" option in describing my assessment of Gary Nash. The reasons I respected Gary Nash's efforts on behalf of LBE have not changed.  Without his efforts Liberty would not have survived the financial crisis linked to the global financial meltdown. Had Liberty not survived, every shareholder of the day would have lost their ...more

Victor2009,Again, you have ISM on the brain and it has a direct impact on your being to objectively discuss issues surrounding this company.  What board are we on, the LBE or the ISM board?  You and your entourage have made fools of yourselves with your obsession of ISM  (Did you like my picture of N77 at "the mere thought of ISM"?).  So much so that you cannot answer ...more

doingthejob/aatozz,You missed the point of my message to you.My reason for bringing up the fact that you endorsed Randy Miller is not confined to discussion on the ISM forum. It is brought up to demonstrate the quality of your judgement, and why anything you have to say on any forum should be judged accordingly. If you praised Randy Miller for his management expertise, and only weeks weeks ...more

doingthejob/aatozz,Again and again, you fail to get the point of what I'm telling you.I am more than willing to discuss any topic concerning LBE with forum participants that show they have the capability of participating in a discussion of the relevant points. All you have demonstrated since joining Stockhouse under your original alias (which was suspended for contravening the forum rules), is ...more

Victor2009,So the departure of Dr. Gary Nash, the broker of the deal with JJ, and the effect it has on majority shareholders is not worth discussion.  Well buddy, seems to me that your deception and deflection is exactly that, and the market has always, and still does, understand the bleak situation LBE minority shareholders find themselves in.  I can understand why you do not want to ...more

DoingthejobYou stated :  " BTW, Randy Miller's conservative approach certainly has outlived Dr. Gary Nash, "Is this an example of Mr Millers conservatism, or is it his secret for longevity? As of the date of this Information Circular, the Corporation has entered into a consulting agreement with ADREACapital Corp., a private British Columbia company owned and/ or ...more

Surething1111,Nice to see you have arrived here.  Not enough action on the ISM BB as the three stooges banter about nothing.  You know Surething1111, this is the LBE BB, and we discuss LBE issues here.  But, to quickly and briefly respond, and I will draw a comparison between Miller and Nash to make it somewhat legitimate to post this discussion here, these two to me how always been ...more

surething1111,You accomplished two things in posting an example of the kind of corporate leadership that aatozz/doingthejob admires.First of all, doingthejob has confirmed that his admiration of Randy Miller the CEO of Inspiration Mining continues. Although he has withdrawn from activity on the ISM forums on Stockhouse and Agoracom - he is impressed with the strategy of Randy Miller, as he was was ...more

Victor; I didn't realize you were awaiting my response with such eagerness. I had thought I made myself clear earlier. All the stuff I read was that Liberty had been shipping nickel concentrate to JJ as debt repayment. See  Notes to Consolidated Financial Statements 10 (a) in the last annual report:On May 8, 2008, the Company announced the completion of a $15,000,000 USD credit facility ...more

ExSudburyGuy2,I wouldn't say I was eagerly awaiting your reply. doingthejob commented that you were trying to tell me something that many had tried to tell me in the past. I merely said that you had not responded to the reasons I had given for not agreeing with your conclusions - nor those put forth by others that claimed Jilin Jien was not concerned with LBE making money. I was interested in ...more
