What is wrong with this site? You can't copy-and-paste anything properly. Check out Stockwatch for a decent chart.

I think the ex-dividend date is Feb 26th and today is Feb 27th?

If LNV's 47 million shares are swapped out for the same of SGY shares at say $5.60 a share the deal would be for $263.2 million plus assumption of app. $120 million of debt for a total of $383 million =6000 boe/d or $63,850 per flowing boe.

The buyer has already locked 19.8% of the shares at $4.45, the deal price from the buyer’s prospective will be the average of the float price + their secondary purchase price. As for a deal at $5.6, this is not going to happen; Longview’s assets are worth more. Regards, Nawar

So the news that surge is the buyer at 4.45 is not new? I see they announced it was them today. Was the market expecting this price or are we going to see a drop in sp now?

TOG can offer a better deal. Trading overvalued or fairly valued shares for undervalued shares of LNV makes sense. Have they fallen asleep? They operate in similar areas, Cardium included... Or CPPIB doesn't want to grow, except for Monarch???
