Frontier Lithium Inc > 2 million is good
View:

2 million is good

But they need tens of millions of government funding  for Beren's River bridge and all season road.

And they need 100's of millions to build out mine a spodumene processing facility. That has to come from some sort of JV.  It cannot be rraised from share sales at this price. And it cannot be borrowed with current interest rates and tight creditt markets.

1 step at a time Rome wasn't built in a day.  Native indigenous people need that road and bridge to get to their communities and I'm sure there say means alot also.Time will tell the story.

Every little bit helps I guess. Two million for lithium processing research will not quicken the pace toward a mine. Nor will it help with the plant for spodumene concentrate production (on mine site) which is the output of phases 1A or 1 B (at double rate if bridge and all season road are built).

Rome was not built in  a day,  but the Romans could build one road and one bridge in a lot shorter time than the 10 plus years that this project has been in the planning stages.

I tend to disagree with the suggested timeline. I feel like people are buying into lithomon's false narrative re: ten years of futility. This infrastructure has been in the works by the Ontario government and many coordinated indigenous groups for more than a decade. It's taken them this long. Why are we under the illusion that a junior mining company that basically didn't have any ...more

I certainly agree that a private company could not have just built a road across multiple jurisdictions including tribal lands and environmemtally sensitive land. Only the government can do it. Maybe that is why Exxon is going to put hundreds of millions into developing lithium brine in Arkansas (first production 2027 with ramp to major production 2030) rather than buying FL. Howver their deal is ...more

My point being that the 2 million grant to study lithium chemical processing seemed to mskr the stock go down. Maybe because they would have to ise those processes in a plant they cannot afford to build to process lithium from a mone the can't afford to build. Lots of deals have been made ( though that  seems to be slowing down with lower lithium pricing). FL has to figure out their path ...more

lithium prices world wide does not help.....but at the same time it will weed out the weak juniors with low concentration of Li

Just hope it doesn't weed us out.  Or lead to a sale at a fire sale price. Hard to believe that the Beren's Bridge and road project (shovel ready) does not get funded.

it will get funded....too much is in stake....

Hopeflully before FL has to take a low ball offer from a partner and/or financing to dilute current shareholder values...
Comment by DoggerJT on Nov 23, 2023 4:32pm
FL is funded through the DFS. There is no need for financing prior to the completion of that study. Once that's finished the project is a short step away from being bankable. A JV or JVs will show up by then and there's no reason to take a lowball offer. So I don't see any unreasonable dilution on the horizon. The only thing that might spark dilution is if the board suddenly loses ...more

I am not close to a lithium expert, or professional like the FL management team, but I don't see the price of lithium recovering in the next 6 months. And the DFS will be complete in less than a year. I would assume and financing package would have to be put together somewhere between those dates (6-12 months). What other catalysts are there for the stock price (other than the price of lithium ...more

I'm nothing of an expert myself, just a guy trying to figure it all out. The catalyst for a bump isn't always something we can predict, but relatively certain bumps seem to take place on meaningful advances towards production. The DFS is one of those. The reality is that we are grossly undervalued relative to our NPV and the closer we get to production the more realizable that NPV becomes ...more
