Hatcher regarding management

Just curious about DL's comments regarding the possible management changes.  Was your impression that he was talking about bringing in some new managent or was it a reorganization of current managers based maybe on their expertise on what their specialties are? Also was there anything else that might be interesting?

TIA

Far

My impression was that they are going to allign managers closer to their strengths. That said, I am sure they will continue to recruit more managers. D Lee said we should expect an announcement shortly about the changes do I would expect to see a pr release either this week or next. I do not know if there will be managers leaving.

One thing I forgot to mention was that Jingcai Yang was there (sitting next to Syd Peng during the meeting). I did not talk to him and don't know if he even spoke English. However, I was impressed by the fact he was there all the way from China. It said a lot to me that the former president of the largest division of the largest coal company in the world was sitting in on this meeting. I ...more

Hi HL, Thank you so much for the AGM update.  1) Did you get the chance to meet and talk to Ed Moy also?  2) If my memory serves well, I believe the lease at Tacoma office is due to expire.  Did the Company say anything about the lease?

1) I briefly met Ed Moy. I had actually met him at last year's meeting. Very nice individual. I ended up speaking with Clayton Fong after the meeting and did not get to talk more to Ed.   2) The HQ is actually in Southcenter which is a part of the city of Tukwila. They did not speak about the lease. However, the offices are nice but not fancy. I don't see a reason for them to move the ...more

HL, Was there any discussion at the AGM concerning GuanShunYuan Group Mining Co (GSY) ? On Aug 6th 2012 news release https://finance.yahoo.com/news/l-l-energy-partners-sizeable-100000401.html D Lee mentions near the last paragraph of a potential future JV with them. Also was there any discussion regarding Union ? Moy said at the last conf call that they were in intense negotiations with Union with ...more

No discussions about GuanShun and I did not ask. However, I spoke to Clayton Fong about the upcoming Union Energy deals. Union Energy wants each deal done as soon as possible.  However, LLEN's strategy is to  hold off until each mine is producing some coal. They want the mines to be immediately accretive. Makes good sense to me as they need to provie cash and stock in ...more
