coals are on fire

Sharpei. Low of 2.15. Are you going to chase it?>

Mac: $2.13.  Not chase.  Now I wonder if it will hit $2.08 (200DMA) in the am since it's come this far. I could use an emoticon right about now.  :-) Sharpei

Good job Sharpei - that definitely took a large amount of where-with-all to make that purchase while coals were on fire.   27 years ago when I first started trading stocks I was making a killing.  Then I started thinking, got killed and gave it up.  I tried again the past week and still barely made it worth my time.  It seems that no matter how rational and unemotional I ...more

Brother Mac:  I totally relate.  I have yet to learn to trust what all my hard work has produced. Really.  My best suggestion would be to  just relax a bit.  Your $2.23 will soon be $2.46.  And it will go up from there.  You are in at the bottom   I have yet to conquer my fears also.  It is a slow process.  I think the hardest part to this ...more

Sharpei- The chart is setting up nicely good read- Best way to get to know a stock is from ground up.  You have a good feel . Most investors over think these things. The stocks, for the most part are range bound, a good tool is Bollinger bands. You need to identify when your stock is in an uptrend- over 80% of uptrend’s are identified as being over the 20 SMA 50SMA 100SMA and 200 SMA- if you ...more

Quite certain to say now that $2.13 was the bottom in this 'W' formation and we are now forming the last leg of the 'W' which should reach $244/2.46 (top of 'cup') and beyond. Sharpei

DC: It doesn't really matter as anyone of us can be wrong at any time.  I've learned that each of us can see different indicators and combos thereof and print what we are seeing. The formation I see is the cup and handle (and a 'w' formed within the handle).  But I will review the chart based on your calculation and may well reassess my earlier decision.   Have you ...more

TJ: I've learned so much from you.  Will take these latest tips and tuck 'em under my cap.  I use BB constantly (do some short term trading) along with Fast Stochs and Fibonacci (still an amateur here). Now would like to become competent with Elliott wave.   I believe you are in NY.  Got cousins in NJ and NY.  Hard to get head around all the destruction.  Hope ...more

Well the PRC  is shutting down smaller coal mines during the leadership change in Northern China so that only is positive for LLen.  I see us returning to the 200dma as we did today.  Now the bottom BBand looks like good support.  If I wait too long then good luck to all.

LLEN is standing still.  Lets close the latest 2 deals with Union Energy ... and move on into the next targets.   Consolidation should be the focus and they should have plenty opportunities in 2013-14 ...
